Why I coach
I’m a German runner based in Charlotte with my wife, and I know firsthand what it means to balance training with everyday life and work. I’ve completed 5+ marathons, 20+ half marathons, and an Ironman 70.3, so I understand both the physical and mental side of the journey.
Having spent years in project management and management, I know how challenging it can be to balance a demanding career with regular training. A structured, flexible, and coach-led plan makes it possible to stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed.
That experience is also part of why I do this. I truly believe that with the right coach, people can reach goals they once thought were out of reach. Running has made me more resilient, helped me manage stress, and given me a healthier way to live and spend time outdoors.
My coaching approach is also shaped by experience close to home: my brother is a certified Ironman coach for triathletes, and I’ve already applied this method successfully with friends and people from my own network.
